About Me
I have always loved crafts. That love definitely came from my mom and grandmother who were ALWAYS making something. As I was growing up, I did all sorts of things, such as coloring, making friendship bracelets, doing crafts in Girl Scouts, and drawing. I really enjoyed taking a drawing class each year of high school.
Eventually, my love for drawing shifted to scrapbooking. My love for taking photos blossomed. Each individual scrapbook page became a work of art. So naturally, each page took FOREVER to complete! After the loss of my first husband, it was very difficult to get back into scrapbooking, or anything for that matter…for several years.
One day, I decided to try watercolor painting, which I hadn’t done since high school. That got me into doing even more art. There are so many different things I enjoy making. Most of all, I enjoy making others smile!
My Family
Cole is 7 months older than Eric’s twins— Abigail and Ethan. Let’s just say that family life is absolute chaos sometimes! It has taken a long time to get adjusted but I think we’re finally at a good place. The kids are all 11 right now and they are starting to get along a lot better. I love Ethan and Abigail like they were my own children. They live with us half of the time. Cole and I lost his dad to cancer when he was only five. His dad was a great man, but Eric is doing a great job of filling the role.
The kids like to do crafts with me, especially Abigail & Cole. Our recent projects include lots of painting and tie dye. It’s especially neat when I can get Ethan to join in the art fun! I love sharing my love for arts and crafts with my kids!
